INFORMATION ABOUT THE IMMERSION PROGRAM

Learn the cultural background and distinction between Mongolian and Tuvan throat singing (Khöömii) with hands-on instruction in producing overtones and resonances in you own voice

Learn and practice the high-pitched Yishiree and low pitched Kargaraa styles. Experience the sounds of traditional instruments such as the horse head fiddle (Morin khuur), Tuvan fiddle (igil), and more.

Engage in one-on-one lessons in a rural environment, learning to draw from and imitate the sounds of the natural world

Participation in the Immersion Program costs $750 - a $250 deposit is due at registration. Balance is due on June 27
