Epiphany Center for the Arts

The Chicago Immigrant Orchestra will be returning to the Epiphany Center for the Arts on Sunday, December 21 after a well-received record release show at the iconic cultural venue on Sept 14 of this year. The Dec 21 performance, with doors opening at 6PM for a 7PM showtime, will feature guest musicians Joe Rendon on Latin Percussion, Romanian folk singer Anna Everling, and Malian Kora virtuoso Tani Diakate.

Fareed Haque

Modern world guitar virtuoso, steeped in classical, jazz and global traditions. His unique command of the guitar and different musical styles inspire his musical ventures with tradition and fearless innovation. Recent projects include the acclaimed Goran Ivanovic/Fareed Haque guitar duo.

Wanees Zarour

Award winning composer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist with deep roots in Middle Eastern music and well versed in modern jazz and global musical styles. Directs the 60-piece Middle East Music Ensemble at the University of Chicago, and his touring jazz fusion group, “East Loop.”
